PGA West to the Cove: new-build porcelain, seasonal remodels and pool decks that stay cool.
La Quinta has more new construction than anywhere else we work, and new houses here come with 24×48 porcelain throughout — often set fast by the builder's crew with lippage and hollow spots the owner finds in year two. A lot of our La Quinta calls are fixing that, or taking a new build's builder-grade bathroom to the one the owner actually wanted.
The other half is seasonal: owners in PGA West, the Citrus, Rancho La Quinta and Andalusia who leave in May and want the primary bath, the floors or the outdoor kitchen finished when they're back in October. We work from the key and the drawing, send tracker updates and photos, and have the house clean before the flight lands.

May to September is when La Quinta's second homes get remodeled. We schedule the big jobs then, coordinate the plumber and the glass installer, and keep the owner updated through the tracker while they're out of state.
Every La Quinta backyard has a pool and a view of the Santa Rosas. Light porcelain pavers and honed travertine stay walkable in August; movement joints and exterior mortar keep them flat through the temperature swings.
The La Quinta Cove is small 1970s and 80s homes on slabs that have moved. Crack-isolation membranes and real flattening before any new floor are the difference between tile that lasts and tile that cracks again.

These are the La Quinta communities we’ve been in lately, not a limit. If yours isn’t listed, call and we’ll tell you what we know about it.

Often, yes. Isolated high edges can be ground and refinished on porcelain; widespread lippage means lifting the worst tiles and resetting them over a flattened slab. We look first and tell you which it is.
That's the most common way we work in La Quinta. Leave a key with us or your property manager, approve the tile and layout before you go, and follow the job on your tracker. You come back to a finished bathroom.
Light-colored porcelain pavers in a slip-rated finish, or honed travertine or limestone if you prefer stone. Both stay cooler than dark tile, and both get movement joints every eight to twelve feet.
