Palm Desert is where we're based and where most of our work is. The city built out in two waves — the condo communities along Country Club Drive and Hovley in the 1970s and 80s, and the estates toward Bighorn, Ironwood and the Stone Eagle side of Highway 74 — and the tile in each tells its age. Mud-set 4×4 showers and 12×12 ceramic floors in the condos; travertine and saltillo in the older estates; big porcelain in anything built or remodeled this decade.

Being local matters for the small things: we know which HOAs want a certificate of insurance before the truck is let in, which gates close to contractors at four, and which tile stores along Highway 111 stock the lines people here keep choosing. Site visits in Palm Desert are usually within a day or two of your request.

What we know

Palm Desert specifics

Country-club condos, 1980s showers

Thousands of Palm Desert condos have the same original shower: 4×4 tile on a mud bed over drywall, no membrane. When one starts leaking into the unit below, the fix is a rebuild from the studs — our most common Palm Desert job and a three-to-five-day one.

HOA paperwork, handled

Palm Desert Country Club, Desert Falls, Monterey Country Club, The Lakes — each has its own contractor rules, work hours and insurance requirements. We've been through most of them and send the paperwork before the start date.

Sun City and the 55+ communities

Sun City Palm Desert and the other 55+ communities give us a steady stream of walk-in-shower conversions and slip-resistant floors. We plan around quiet hours and keep the house usable every night.

Fair questions

Palm Desert FAQ

How fast can you come out for an estimate in Palm Desert?

Usually within a couple of days — we're based here. Send the request with a photo or two and Josh will call to set a time, often the same day.

Do you work in Palm Desert's gated country clubs?

Constantly. We carry the insurance certificates most HOAs ask for, follow their contractor hours, and get on the gate list before the first visit so nobody is stuck at the guardhouse.

Can you replace the shower in a Palm Desert condo without disturbing the neighbors?

We seal the work area, keep demo to mid-morning, haul debris out the same day and finish most condo showers inside a week. Noise is unavoidable on demo day; we warn the neighbors through you or the HOA.
