Repairs & handyman
Cracked or hollow tiles, crumbling grout, a shower that drips through to the ceiling — or drywall, fixtures, a TV mount and the door that sticks. Send a photo and we’ll call back with a straight answer and a time.
Usually, yes. We cut out the grout, break the tile out carefully, clean the mortar bed and set a new tile. The hard part is matching — bring us a spare if you have one, or we'll find the closest tile made today.
Grout that was never sealed, movement at the corners where grout was used instead of caulk, or water getting behind the tile from a failed pan. Regrouting fixes the first two; the third means the shower needs attention behind the tile.
It depends on the tile, the access and the cause, which is why we ask for a photo first. Small repairs are quoted after a quick look; regrouting a whole shower is a fixed price for the day. Either way you know the number before we start.
We remove scale from grout and tile and seal them so it comes off easier next time. Etched glass shower doors are a separate problem — the scale has eaten the surface — and we'll tell you honestly when a door is past cleaning.
